‘Conspiracy theory’, the term awash with negative connotations thanks to a bought-off media which propagates the idea that anything which doesn’t fit the standard narrative must be from the mind of a “wacko” or “nut-job”.
Certainly there are plenty of ridiculous theories out there, but there’s also a lot of shady s**t. Governments are doing things behind the scenes that most don’t realize because…you guessed it…they only read what’s in the mainstream news.
I think, when looking at conspiracy theories such as this, it’s important to position yourself somewhere in the middle. To gobble them up and be desperate to find conspiracies is ultimately apt to lead one down the road of bending the narrative to fit what they want to find (much like the media on the other side), while flat-out disregarding them as cuckoo nonsense is lazy and ignores the responsibility we all bear as humans: to ask questions.
We’re not supposed to think anything else happened. That’s why it’s so important to at least look behind the curtain.
